Services Agreement
Last updated October 21, 2026
This is the agreement between you (the business buying the service) and Sasquatch Siding, which runs Oakstack Services ("Oakstack", "we", "us"). It covers the websites, trade tools, apps, and add-ons we build and look after for you. You agree to it when you pay at checkout or sign a quote that points here. If something in a written quote from us is different from this page, the quote wins for that project.
What you get
What's included in each website plan (pages, edits, gallery updates, trade tools, reports, turnaround) is listed on the websites page. Trade tools and apps are described on the web apps page or in your quote. The version of those pages on the day you sign up is what you get, unless we agree to something else in writing (email counts).
The build
- Half the build fee is due as a deposit when you sign up. That books your build and we get started.
- A website usually takes two to three weeks. That clock runs while we have what we need from you (photos, wording, logins we've asked you to set up). Time spent waiting on you doesn't count.
- You see the site before it goes live and can ask for changes. When it's ready, we send you a link for the other half of the build fee plus your first month. It goes live once that's paid.
- If you cancel before we start, we refund the deposit. If you cancel partway through the build, we keep the deposit and you don't owe anything more.
Monthly plan
- Your monthly plan starts the day your site or tool launches and renews automatically on the card you paid with. It pays for keeping it live: hosting, security, backups, and the changes your plan includes.
- There's no contract. Cancel any time by text or email. You won't be charged again, and everything keeps running to the end of the month you've paid for.
- If you pay for a year at a time, you get 12 months for the price of 10. A paid year isn't refunded if you cancel partway through, but everything keeps running until the year is up. Yearly plans renew each year unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- We may change prices, but never in the middle of a year you've paid for, and we'll email you at least 60 days before a change takes effect.
Changes and edits
- Send changes by text or email. A "small edit" is something like swapping photos, changing wording, updating prices or hours, or adding a review: about 30 minutes of work or less.
- Plans with hours of changes include that much time each month. Unused time and unused edits don't carry over to the next month.
- Turnaround times are business days, counted from when we have everything we need for the change.
- Anything bigger, like a new section, a redesign, or a new feature in a tool or app, gets a price from us first. Nothing extra is charged without your OK.
Trade tools and apps
- The monthly price for a tool or app covers hosting, backups, security updates, fixing anything that breaks, updates to your prices, catalog items, and photos, and up to an hour of small changes a month.
- Estimates and prices shown by a tool come from numbers you give us. You're responsible for them and for the promises on your site. Make sure your customers know an estimate is a ballpark, not a bid.
- Custom apps are built to a written quote that says what's included, the price, and the monthly cost.
What you own
- Your domain. It stays registered in your name. If we register one for you, we do it in your name and charge you what it costs us.
- Your content. Your wording, photos, logo, reviews, and the leads and data your customers send through your site are yours. You give us permission to use them to build and run your site, tools, and apps.
- Send us only photos and content you have the right to use. If someone claims you didn't, that's between you and them, and we may take the item down.
What we own
The code, templates, and building blocks we use stay ours, because we reuse them for other customers. You can use everything we build for you for as long as you're a customer, and after a handoff (below) you can keep using your site and tools as they are.
We may show your site or tool as an example of our work. Tell us if you'd rather we didn't and we won't.
Leaving: the handoff
- If you want to move your site somewhere else, the handoff is a one-time $750. We move your site and trade tools to the host you choose, or give you a complete copy and walk your new person through it.
- Whenever the agreement ends, we keep your site up for 30 days so you have time to move, and we'll point your domain wherever you tell us. Your domain and content are always yours, handoff or not.
- Handing off a custom app is covered by its quote, or priced when you ask.
Payment
- Payments are by card through Stripe and charged automatically. Stripe emails you a receipt each time.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the next couple of weeks and we'll reach out. After 14 days unpaid we may pause changes. After 30 days unpaid we may take the site offline until it's paid. We will never hold your domain or your content hostage.
Your customers' information
Quote requests and other form entries go to you. We don't sell them or use them for anything except running your site. See the Privacy Policy.
Hosting, uptime, and backups
We host with established providers and keep backups. We work to keep your site up and fix problems quickly, but no website is up 100% of the time, and we can't promise it will be.
Limits on what we owe
We're not responsible for lost profits, lost leads, or other indirect losses. If something goes wrong because of us, the most we owe is what you paid us in the 12 months before it happened.
Ending the agreement for a serious problem
Either of us can end this agreement if the other seriously breaks it and doesn't fix it within 15 days of being told in writing. We can also stop serving a customer who uses the site for anything illegal, deceptive, or abusive, without the 15 days.
Changes to this agreement
If we change this page, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you. Changes never shorten anything you've already paid for.
The law that applies
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
